Product photography and styling for Perth gift box business, The Beloved Co and luxury bath & body brand Sanktury. I love product photography, both setting up each shot and then photographing it.
Some of my top tips for product photography:
Start with your hero product and then arrange smaller items around it
Balance but not symmetry, balance out colours and shapes in the shot without creating a rigid symmetrical layout.
Layer textures, these give warmth and depth to otherwise flat images
Bounce the light, I use large white sheets of coreflute and white sheets to diffuse and bounce the light around for bright, natural and even light.
